Teams
Built for how your church is actually structured
Departments, divisions, and roles — with a Ministry Leader able to manage their own area without needing full admin access.

Three things that look similar but aren't
A group of people who belong together, a team of people who usually serve together, and an actual scheduled role are three different things — and treating them as one list is where a spreadsheet starts to fall apart. Ministry Planner keeps them distinct on purpose.
What you can do
- Set up departments (like Music or Production) with their own reorderable roles (like Piano or Sound Tech).
- Give a division within a department its own Ministry Leader, without giving them the whole department.
- Build reusable Teams — a usual group of people you can assign to a service all at once.
- Track Groups as persistent belonging, with a real history of when someone joined or left.
- Let a Ministry Leader manage only the people, roles, and schedule inside their own department.
